At the tender age of 12, I found myself thrust into the world of live event production when I volunteered as a production assistant for the Mid-Summer Music Festival. I was like a kid in a candy store, running around backstage for bands like UB40, The Jets, Whitesnake, and the Temptations, ironing, delivering towels, and doing whatever it took to earn my first all-access pass.
Fast forward 20+ years, and I’ve come a long way from my towel-delivering days. I’ve since become an accomplished executive producer, director, and project manager of events – from Fortune 500 business theatre productions to public festivals, awards programs, galas, and even sporting events (I know, I’m basically a superhero). In 2011, I ditched the 9-to-5 grind and went freelance, and now I’m lucky enough to work with some of the most innovative agencies in the industry.
Why do they love me, you ask? Well, besides my sparkling personality and sharp wit, I’m known for my consistency, accuracy, and comprehensive approach to producing and directing. My direct yet calm style helps deliver excellence in execution, and I’ve got a killer team of long-time friends and colleagues who make my job a joy.
So if you’re in need of an executive producer or show director/stage manager who knows how to get the job done (and have a little fun while doing it), look no further than yours truly, Becky.
